There are 12 main FF games. FFI to FFXII. FFX has a sequel: FFX-2. FFXIII is scheduled for a 2009 release, and it’s part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis trilogy, which includes FFXIII, FF vs. XIII, and FF Agito XIII.
Then if you include all the spin offs or games with Final Fantasy in it, you get quite a few more.
There’s Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles for the GC, FFXII: Revenant Rings and FF: Ring of Fates for the DS. There’s FFVII: Dirge of Cereberus for the PS2. There’s FFVII: Crisis Core for the PSP. On the Wii Ware, there’s FF: My Life as a King. There’s FF Tactics for the PSX, later for the PSP. There’s FF Tactics A2 for the DS. There was also FF Mystic Quest for the SNES. There’s also 3 Chocobo games. Chocobos are mainstream characters in FF games.
I’m pretty sure I’m missing some FF games. There’s just too many of them.
The best FF games are FFVI (my favorite) and FFVII, but FFI to FFX (not including FFX-2), and FFXII are all good. FFXI is a MMORPG, so I didn’t include it.
Also, a lot of the FF games were remade for the handhelds, but it’s still the same game but with updated graphics and maybe new dungeons to explore.
there are 12(13) final fantasys and they are all for ps2 gameboy or ds.
I dont know about the gameboy or the ds ones but I know that for the ps2 if you like old games 7 and 8 were really good but I prefer new games 10 and 10-2 are my favorite (X and X-2, the only two final fantasy games that go together) 12 is the newest one and I havent had much time to play it but it looks very good.
I really recamend you get final fantasy X (10) and then X-2 they are really fun, great graphics and have an amazing story.
da best is 7 cause it has the best characters and the best story u could ever think of. theres two types of final fantasies one is final fantasy 1 2 3 ect. and the other is final fantasy tactics. they all have great stories.
but theres so many i cant count. probably about 20 or less
they made final fantasy 7 crisis core(before final fantasy 7) for the psp.
if u dont got a psp try final fantasy 10 or 12 for the ps2
final fantasy 7 is for playstation 1 if u have one. and if u do its hard to find 7
