Hi, I was just wondering if someone could tell me why it took so long for Western artists to move away from trying to realistically depict the world, and to move onto more fantastic or abstract art such as we saw in the 20th Century. I realise there was a small degree of fantasy-like art before this, such as mythological depictions, and surreal works by painters like Heironymous Bosch, but I don’t understand why there wasn’t much more of this throughout the ages.

Joined a fantasy football league and I want to join A friends league but need to know how to get out of a league that i signed up for and have its not already drafted yet, how can i do that?

My fantasy profile says that in one league that I comepted in this year, I came in 9th out of 10 teams. This is incorrect, as I came in 7th out of 10 teams. If you go to the team homepage, you will see the standings and that I came in 7th. How can I get this corrected?

I’ve never played any Final Fantasy games, but i’ve watched the original Advent Children and thought it was pretty good (although nobody else in my family caught on with the plot, i completely understood what was going on most of the time). I am running an offline fantasy football draft for the first year with some family and friends. After the draft I am going to enter the results on yahoo. I’m not asking if I should do it at a bar or if I should have activities or anything. I’m just wondering how I should keep track of who has been drafted and how I should let everyone know who is available. Like, should I have a cheatsheet and just cross people off?
